Customizing Your Marker Popup Bubbles
How to customize your marker popup bubbles:
First, you need to understand them.
Understanding Your Marker Info Popup Bubbles
Categories:
+ Location Name/Title: The name you'd like to display on each of your locations.
+ Location Description: Any additional details you'd like to associate and display with each of your locations.
+ Website URL Column: The associated URL for each of your locations.
+ Image URL Column: A logo or storefront photo for each of your locations.
+ Email Address Column: The email address associated with the manager or main contact at each of your locations.
Importing Images To Popups:
When you create your map, you have the option of including images within your map marker popup bubbles. In order to include images, you will need to take the following steps:
Step 1: Upload your images to a free image uploader site like imgur.com that can provide you with an associated image URL.
Step 2: Create a new column in your spreadsheet and paste the location-specific image URLs into the new column. You can capture the link by right-clicking on the picture you downloaded and Copy Image Location. Maptive will then translate it into a picture for your marker popup.
Step 3: When you upload your data spreadsheet to Maptive, match the column you created in your spreadsheet with the Image URL Column Category.
If you've successfully completed the steps outlined above, your images will populate in your marker popup info bubbles, as illustrated in this example:
Hiding Data on Shared Maps:
If you want to share your map with others, you can choose to hide certain data in your marker popup info-bubble by taking the following steps:
Step 1: Open map settings.
Step 2: Open the Shared/Presentations Maps dropdown section.
Step 3: Find the Show/Hide Data on Marker and click the Open button.
Step 4: Select which information you would like to hide on your map by toggling it off and click save.
Changing the size; color; font color & size; as well as the order the data appears in the popup or hide it entirely. These changes will update all marker popups, not just the one you click on.
Step 1: Click any marker and look for Edit Popup
Step 2a: Click the Edit Popup button and the following menu will open. Starting with Popup Size customization. Here you can change your marker popups to be a specific size, switch to Automatic Sizing, or Reset Default Values. 
Step 2b: Here you can change the following:
- Column Labels/Content Spacing
- Data Label Font Color & Size
- Data Value Font Color & Size
- Popup Body Color
- Popup Footer Color & Font Color
- Reset Default Values
Step 2c: Here you can change the order your data shows up in the marker popup by clicking and dragging the section to a different position in the same popup. You can also drag any data you want to hide from the popup to the box on the right. You can also, of course, Reset Default Values to put everything back in its original place.
