How should I prepare and format my data before uploading it?

Below is a visual example of what a typical data set might look like. Make sure to read each point (A, B, C and D) so you can format your data correctly and get the most value out of Maptive's mapping tools and analytics platform.

Note: In order to successfully use Maptive, you must provide at least one location specific data point (city, state, zip, address, country, province, etc). All other columns in your data provide additional information and data relevant to each location—the higher level of detail and the more data points you have about each location, the more you will get out of Maptive's analytics tools and features.
